The ReliaTel Voice Traffic, CDR, & Capacity reporting facility empowers Telecom, IT, and Network staff to proactively assess voice network resource utilization, call volume and handling, trunk utilization, and calculated capacity trends for all aspects of the converged voice infrastructure.

ReliaTel generates comprehensive text-based reports, charts, and graphs that provide the actionable data needed to:

  • Track usage of trunks, attendants, hunt groups and call rates, and identify blockage and trunk outage scenarios
  • Analyze trunk capacity and grade of service, and optimize trunk utilization to ensure call completion and reduce needless over-trunking expenses.
  • Continually evaluate IP-PBX, circuit, and attendant service levels to ensure optimum experiences for incoming and outgoing callers.
  • Manage VoIP QoS, latency, jitter, and delay, and track summarized MOS to ensure voice quality
  • Assess network bandwidth utilization, throughput, and capacity trends to ensure voice service levels
  • Analyze CDRs and track call accountability, connectivity, and usage statistics to prevent fraud and ensure availability
  • Prevent lost calls, call bottlenecks, and call delays which can negatively impact profitability

Traffic and capacity statistics are calculated using industry standard traffic formulas, user-specified thresholds, and user-selected grade of service (GOS) metrics to produce customized traffic and capacity planning reports. Support for both Poisson and Erlang traffic formulas provide complete reporting flexibility for multiple platforms including Avaya-Nortel, Cisco, and Lucent voice switches and devices.

Users can optionally set specific threshold criteria to be compared with collected traffic and capacity data, and automatically trigger alarming and custom notification should the set threshold be exceeded.
